About Us

    This all started with a lunch. In late 2018 our Founder Tony Tate had the opportunity to share lunch with his long time friend Barry Royal. At lunch Tony shared his vision of a non profit where young men and women could come closer to God through the great outdoors.

    Just a few short days later Barry reached out and asked Tony if he would like to go and look at a piece of property to help make this dream a reality. That day the purchase of 200 fenced acres of land was made. In the heart of Middle Tennessee this property features 200 acres of prime land with two ponds both feed by a stream.

   Tony's dream could now start to grow into reality. Through lots of Volunteer Work and many hours of so many peoples time the Tennessee Christian Outdoorsman Camp was up and ready to go in the spring of 2020. 

   We have already hosted several men's retreats for local churches and look forward to many more great large events. However our goal is to start our Mentor ship program in Fall of 2020. Young Men and Women who need a fresh start, father figure or just to find God will pair with our Volunteer Mentors to learn more about the great outdoors via, camping, hunting, fishing and much more.
